I taught myself to make jewelry in 2016 during a move to New York City from Montreal. As I impatiently awaited a work visa, the relentless need to be creating using my hands had me ideating.
With my background in fashion, couture, and design, I began crafting pieces initially for myself.
Gradually this evolved, as things do, into new forms. Perlacadente emerged as interested people began requesting pieces for themselves.
